[Beauty Review] Protect & Style Your Hair with Philips KeraShine ❤

Hola readers! Sorry that I have been super busy for the past one month. Hence you will see a reduction of number of posts in my blog. Today I would to share with my readers on the newly launched KeraShine haircare range by Philips! I gotta say these are the products that you should try especially the girls who loves to style their hair at home before going out for events, parties and so on.

Philips KeraShine haircare range consists of 3 products which are KeraShine Dryer followed by KeraShine Straightener and KeraShine Heated Styler. Why does Philips come out with Philips KeraShine? Philips KeraShine range infuse Keratin to protect key structural components of hair. Hair is composed of approximately 91% protein made up of long chains of amino acids. As the cells in your hair mature, they fill up with a fibrous protein called keratin. When your hair is dry and keratin deficient, it only makes sense to remedy it with a keratin treatment.

Therefore, Philips KeraShine Haircare range is designed to help you achieve the perfect style you want while keeping your hair smooth, shiny and most importantly, healthy.

Philips KeraShine Dryer  - RM169

Let me start off with Philips KeraShine Dryer. This versatile dryer helps to achieve ideal drying results while keeping your hair healthy at the same time. With a total control of 3 heat and speed settings, I can adjust the heat settings according to the condition of my hair. With a cool air setting, I can also have cool air blowing to my hair to avoid hair from exposing too much heat. 

I like how the handle of the dryer can be folded which allows me to carry it with me when travelling. I have a huge dryer with me and each time I find it inconvenient to travel with such a huge dryer. With this dryer, I can throw it into my mini luggage and off I go!

With this KeraShine Dryer, I personally tried out different settings and the one I like the most is the cool air settings. I have the habit of drying my hair with the highest speed since I have thicker hair and when my hair is about to dry, I will use the cool air settings to blow my hair to get a more soft and smoother hair. Of course with Keratin-infused components and ionising properties in this KeraShine Dryer, I can have frizz-free, smooth and shiny hair! *wide grin*

However bear in mind that this dryer only work to maintain the smooth, frizz-free and shiny hair so I would suggest to you to continue using hair serum or hair protectant serum to avoid hair from being more damaged. 

Philips KeraShine Straightener - RM169

Since I love straight hair, I would definitely enjoy using this KeraShine Straightener. The extra wide plates are designed to straighten thick, long hair with a silky smooth finish. This KeraShine Straightener helps to style hair fast and safely. 

It cuts down on styling time with a short 6-seconds heat-up time. This Keratin-infused ceramic plates has auto shut-off function which you do not have to worry if you forgot to switch off the power. 

What I love the most about this product is the extra wide plates. So far all the straighteners that I have at home are small plates which take ages to get my hair straightened since I have thicker hair. With this extra wide plates from KeraShine Straightener, it saves up a lot of my time in styling my hair. 

This extra-wide plates comes with a handle that fits perfectly on my palm. It's so easy to hold on to while styling my hair and I do not have to worry about the KeraShine Straightener slips off from my hand. 

On the other hands, the results after using this KeraShine straighter are awesome. You can have smooth and shiny hair after using it. The Keratin-infused ceramic plates are so easy to glide through my hair which do not cause my hair to get frizzy or kinky. Some ceramic plates do not give smooth and easy-to glide on my hair which got me rather sick of using the straightener. 

You can actually see the immediate shiny and smooth results on my hair after using the KeraShine Straighter. This was taken before I apply hair serum on my hair. 

I always wanted a smooth, shiny and straight hair and this definitely a-must-own product in every girls' wish list. Never think of skipping of your daily hair regime as with hair serum, it will definitely enhance or maintain the smoothness of the hair for long period of time.

Another product in KeraShine range that you will want to know. In this review, I also included my favourite, Philips KeraShine Heated Styler. 

Philips KeraShine Heated Styler - RM199

This KeraShine Heated Styler creates soft waves and glamourous volume without damaging your hair. With a 45 mm barrel and infused-Keratin coating and ionic emitters, this styler helps to create styles that last. 

With 2 styling temperature settings cater to different hair types and reduce the risk of damage while gently creating curls that stay. In addition, the retractable bristles negate the trauma of tugging for a hassle-free and hair-friendly experience. 

Since my hair is rather thick, I will normally pin half of my hair up to ensure that all my hair is fully styled. It's not easy to style when my hair is on the middle length side as my hair is super stubborn.  So in this review, I created an inward curls on the ends on my hair for a softer look. 

With this KeraShine Heated Styler, you will only need 15 seconds to create soft waves you want with one particular section of the hair you want. The retractable bristles definitely a good idea to come up with as I can use them to place on my dressing table without having in contact of the barrel with my dressing table. It works like a stand for my heated styler. 

This got to be one of favourite styler at this moment. Sometimes I become so sick of my straight hair and definitely this KeraShine Heated Styer would be a good choice for me to style my hair as I can create soft waves.

I also braided one side of my hair since I don't really having my hair touching my face especially when I am working. The waves I have created on my hair are not too curly and this hairstyle will not make my face looked older as compared to those curly curls. I am pretty sure it's the trend nowadays to have wavy hair at the ends as it will create more volume on your hair.
