[Beauty Review] Love Your Skin Again With Silk Peel™ DermalInfusion™ ❤

A couple of weeks ago, I went for SilkPeel™ DermalInfusion™ at Face Factors Clinic, which is located at Block D of Solaris Dutamas (Publika). Hearing the word peel, I was interested to try it out given that in already in my late 20's, I had already started developing pigmentation. Been hearing a lot of reviews that this treatment could assist in lightening age spots, I was excited to try this out.

Silk Peel™ combines the process of microdermabrasion along with the simultanous delivery of a skincare solution depending on your need.

If you are looking for a solution to your skin conditions that can be done in non-invasive phases during your lunch hour, won't leave your skin dry or excessively irritated, and delivers tangible results that last, then you should try Silk Peel™ DermalInfusion™.

Prior to the start of the treatment, the skin would be cleansed to be prepared for treatment and the right mix of topicals are selected based on your skin condition.

SilkPeel™ effectively treats all skin types and addresses a wide range of dermatological conditions including hyperpigmentation, acne, photodamage, dehydration and fine line wrinkles. Operating on a closed-loop vacuum system, the medical grade diamonds exfoliate the outer layer of skin while delivering a topical dermaceutical to the skin at a controlled intensity, stimulating new cell growth.

L-R: Vitamin C, Hydrating Formula, Clarifying Solutions and Lumixyl Pro-Infusion

An antioxidant solution for dull, tired skin, the SilkPeel™ DermalInfusion™ Vitamin C solutions helps remedy the effects of environmental damage. The overall appearance of the skin is improved immediately and targeted ingredients help ward off further UV damage in the long term.

SilkPeel™ DermalInfusion™'s Hydrating Formula uses Hyaluronic Acid to re-hydrate chronically dehydrated skin. The procedure moisturizes, increases epidermal thickness and helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

SilkPeel™ DermalInfusion™'s Clarifying Solution delivers salicylic acid safely and effectively to improve the appearance of cystic and pustule acne. The added benefit of aloe helps soothe inflamed and irritated skin

SilkPeel™ DermalInfusion™'s Brightening Solution features the revolutionary Lumixyl™peptide, a non-irritating and effective topical for the improvement of uneven pigmentation, dark spots and an overall glowing complexion

Based on my skin condition, the expert from the clinic suggested to me to use Lumixyl Pro-Infusion and Skin Hydration Solution with Sodium Hyaluronic Acid. My skin was slightly dry and I have uneven skin tone. For your information, Silk Peel™ DermalInfusion™ is the first patented treatment that provides both non-invasive exfoliation and delivery of skin-specific topical solutions under pressure, leaving the patients with fresher-feeling and better-looking skin.

Dual digital LED display for precise vacuum and flow settings

SilkPeel™ is safe and painless, allowing the patients to reap the benefits on a accelerated basis without the complications and discomfort usually associated with microdermabrasion, chemical peels, lasers and other invasive treatment. In addition, SilkPeel™ is unique because it does not use crystals or other abrasive particles that can irritate your skin. The right topical solutions would then mixed in a bottle and run under the machine.

You could see in the photo above that the crystal clear bottle on the right hand side is the bottle where all the impurities would be collected in after the whole 20-minutes of treatment. SilkPeel™ is easily performed on your lunch hour so you can return immediately to your normal activities which is a facial that I would go for each time.

The SilkPeel Dermabrasion combines diamond-wand microdermabrasion technology with a unique solution delivery system that penetrates deep into the skin’s layers. The skin is not broken in any way, but the top layer of skin is gently buffed away with the diamond head.

This process removes dead skin cells, any pigmentation on the top layer of skin, and also buffs away fine lines and wrinkles. The topical solution that is applied during the procedure sinks deep into the dermal layer and begins to activate the cell regeneration process.

Silk Peel™ treatment in progress.

It was painless. I just got a slight shock when the first suction was done on my skin because I had no idea how it worked. However, after a few times, I rested my eyes because it was soothing even though the treatment was on-going.

The difference between the left and the right side.

I can see a slight firming effect on the right side as shown in the photo when I was using the treatment. A super gentle treatment if you compare it to the likes of intense peels or lasers. Right after the treatment, my face was noticeably brighter and fresher and the blackheads on the nose had been significantly reduced. However, if you want to further brighten up the skin, you should return for at least another 3-4 weekly treatments to see the results.

The impurities that were sucked out from my face.

Overall, I felt fresh as if I had just undergone proper facial with extraction. The surface of my skin was smooth and I could see that my skin was glowing. There was no pain at all and they also put a layer of sunscreen as an added protection before I left.

This Silk Peel™ DermalInfusion™ treatment is highly recommended for those who opt for a painless and less abrasive alternative to treat hyperpigmentation or acne problems or just to prevent early signs of aging by ensuring the right nutrients and hydration gets to your skin.

Brighter looking skin after one treatment. (:
