Premiere Screening of Snow White and The Huntsman ❤

Had the opportunity to watch the premiere screening of Snow White and The Huntsman with the rest of the bloggers. Got the invitation from both Nuffnang and Churp Churp. Thank you! So i brought along my friend while i invited my sister to join along together with her friend. =)

Went there rather early and queued up to get the 4 tickets which were under my name. Waited for almost half an hour just to get the tickets. Thank god our seats were not too near to the screen. =) Both showtimes from Nuffnang and Churp Churp were different. Therefore sis and i had to watch separately. =(

Well the story line is predictable. It is almost the same as the epic fairy tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves but just a bit of different plot where the huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) plays a big role in this movie this time.

Charlize Theron as Queen Ravenna

The ruthless Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) has conquered several England's kingdoms and plans to take over the entire continent. But she soon learns from her Magic Mirror that she will be overthrown by her stepdaughter Snow White (Kristen Stewart), who will also surpass her as the "Fairest of Them All". Ravenna and her loyal brother Finn are eager to see Snow White eliminated, but the only way for Ravenna to remain in power is to consume Snow White's heart and achieve immortality.

Chris Hemsworth as Eric, the Huntsman and Kristen Stewart as Snow White

When the Snow White manages to escape into the Dark Forest, the Queen summons a huntsman named Eric to kill the Princess. Eric however takes pity on his prey and teaches her unique skills in the art of war. Now, with the aid of several dwarves and her childhood love Prince William (Sam Claflin), Snow White begins a powerful revolution to kill her stepmother.

The story is a bit draggy but it was worth watching it even though i had terrible tummy ache during the movie. Anyway, remember to catch this movie airing on all the cinemas on 31st of May!

Ratings: 8.5 / 10

P/s: Perhaps this will be my last premiere screening to be attended. =/ Hmm. Going back to Taiping tomorrow.

gradmalaysia National Student Challenge 2012 ❤

Look of the day. Outfit: Checkered shirt and jeans by Forever 21.

I was just trying my luck the other day in the online assessment for the National Student Challenge 2012 organised by gradmalaysia in partnership with SEC. Indeed I was lucky enough to be one of the top 30 finalists among thousands of participants to take part in this challenge on the day itself which is on 12th May 2012 which coincided with the Graduate Careers Fair held at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre from 11 am till 5 pm.

My dearies and i reached pretty early and my registration number was 0002 a number after Jie Hoai. My dearies were kind enough to accompany me the whole day during the challenge as we were allocated into a lounge room which to be separated from the career fair in the convention centre. I was seriously lucky to meet up with a junior of mine who is from UTAR too.

We were divided into 6 groups and for round 1 which is case study competition, each group was assigned a case study to examine and prepare a presentation on. A group was rewarded for the presentation skills, as well as our creativity and practicality in coming up with solutions to the problems. TWO groups made it through the final stage which is Group 2 and Group 6. The judges (comprising of senior management from Axiata, RHB, Maybank, Prudential and HSBC) chose my team mate and another guy from Group 1 to enter the final stage.

In round 2 which is Hired in 60 Seconds, the final round contestants had to come up with creative ideas on "Why Should I Be Hired?" using the materials prepared by the organiser.

The winners were announced where Catherine Lam from UPM grabbed the new iPad followed by Benjamin Wong who took away RM500 cash and Pua Jia Jiun with RM300 cash. Congratulations to the winners! Each participant was given a certificate of participation as a token of appreciation. =)

Did not have the time to eat lunch or breakfast during the competition so my friend suggested to me to go for our dinner at Bubba Gump.

My tired look and Kah Khey dear. =)

Jie Hoai and Jing Yin

Seeing this made me hungry at this moment. =(

The onion ring is so huge!

Last but not least, a photo to cheer you up! INTRODUCING THE MAN-MADE BALLOON BY JANICE YEAP! =P

P/s: I am officially free from degree life! Woohoo!~~ But sadly another important person in my life had left this world. Attended my uncle's funeral last Thursday in KL. Got my results on the day itself. I know you will bless me always. Rest in peace, uncle. =) My first interview tomorrow in PJ! Wish me luck! :D

2 Days More to My Freedom!

Yes. I can't wait to call it off - my degree life. That's it. I just want to end it nicely before i enter the another new chapter of my life.

My love, baby Stitch.

Went back last week for only two days after my second paper since i didn't meet my parents for almost 4 months. I also could not believe in myself that i did not even step into Taiping ever since my CNY break. My first time staying away from home for so long and yes i seriously miss home.

Imagine i had only two days with my parents and I shared all my 4 months of degree life's news and updates in just within 2 days. Everything had to be in short and simple as possible. My life in Taiping had turned me into introvert as i just want to spend more time on my couch and my huge bed at home. The weather was wonderful too. Everyone in my twitter timeline complaint the hot weather in KL and i am the only one who was complaining about the cool air in Taiping cause it rained for almost everyday. I shivered almost every night and had my thick blanket on. The feelings were superb amazing!

How could i just leave Taiping with such nice weather? I seriously left Taiping with a heavy heart the other day. Mummy and daddy almost spent their busy time just for me so that we can chit-chat nonstop from my future plan after graduation to my current study life. Where will i be heading to after my graduation? Should i just stay in Taiping and work and spend more time with family? Or should i just work in KL and buy a new house for my sis and i to stay? I totally have no plans for that yet.

Daddy was giving me a pretty good offer which i was kind of reluctant to reject it. Perhaps i should consider. But still there are many aspects to be considered. hmm... Please don't bug me with these stuffs so soon? Cause i never really have a good rest every since i stepped in my final semester of my degree life. FYP sucks badly. But of course with great friends and lecturers around, my degree life wouldn't be that lively and exciting. I wish to keep these sweet memories and hope all of us will keep in touch again.

My Nikon partners in crime - Jun and Shan during PIKOM PC Fair in April.

My crazy dearies whom i gonna miss a lot in future. =)

With our cute lecturer, Dr Low during my Plant Design 2 presentation.

Somehow the things i regretted the most in UTAR are not having close relationships with some of my course mates. But it is ok. I think it was more than enough for me cause i have really great friends around me supporting me while i at midst of giving up on my studies. Thanks for the encouragement and support you guys gave me!

Right after my finals, i need to rest well and not forgetting to blog more to make my bloggie alive! I need to attend a lot of bloggers' events and know more friends during the networking session. =)

P/s: Rome was not built in a day. Remember that every effort you have made before hand will lead you to a successful life in future and be strong to your will and determination to achieve success.

❤ signing off, janiceyeap ❤
